Why We Started

We’re pet owners who got tired of rubbish product reviews. You know the ones: generic “best of” lists that are basically rewritten Amazon descriptions, claiming every harness is life-changing and every collar is essential. So we decided to do something different.

Furlygood exists because UK pet parents deserve honest guidance on the gear that actually matters. We’ve all been there — spending a tenner on something that falls apart after two walks, or splashing out on a premium product only to find your dog hates it. We wanted to save you from those headaches.

What We Do

What We Do

We research, compare, and review pet accessories and equipment so you don’t have to. Whether you’ve got a boisterous Labrador, a particular cat who refuses normal collars, or a rabbit that needs a proper run, we’ve covered it.

Our reviews focus on what’s genuinely available in the UK at realistic prices. We check Amazon UK, Pets at Home, and other retailers that actual UK pet parents use. Because there’s no point raving about something you can only order from Japan with a three-week delivery time.

We look at dogs, cats, and small pets — everything from leads and harnesses to beds, toys, carriers, and training equipment.

How We Review

We take the same approach we’d use for our own pets: honest, practical, and focused on what actually works.

For each product, we consider real features (does this actually solve a problem?), real sizing (will it actually fit your pet?), and real durability (will it last more than a few weeks?). We review budget options, mid-range picks, and premium alternatives because not everyone wants to spend £50 on a harness, and that’s perfectly fine.

We’re upfront about the cons too. Every product has them — the harness that’s brilliant but tricky to put on, the bed that’s comfy but sheds like a nightmare. We’ll tell you about both.

What We Don't Cover

We stick to what we know: gear, accessories, and equipment. We don’t review pet food or nutrition supplements (AllAboutDogFood covers that brilliantly). We steer clear of health products and anything veterinary, because that’s not our lane and your vet is the right person to advise on that stuff.
